Pneuride Limited, previously known as Dunlop Suspension Systems, was established in 2007 with a history spanning over 100 years. Founded in Coventry, England in 1890, it has been involved in the design and development of chassis and suspension components. It pioneered the development of vehicle air springs in the 1950s and introduced the ECAS (Electronically Controlled Air Suspension) system in 1990, becoming a leading innovator in the industry. With over 70 years of experience in air spring development and more than 20 years in air suspension system development, Dunlop has supplied air suspension systems to both original equipment (OE) and aftermarket customers globally. In 2023, Cheersson Precision Metal Forming Co., Ltd. acquired Pneuride Limited and formed a joint venture, Pneuride Automotive Technology (Suzhou), based in the Suzhou Industrial Park. This venture leverages the UK's technological expertise combined with a Chinese management team to serve Chinese OE customers and pursue opportunities in the global air suspension market.
