Lizhong Group, established in 1984, is a transnational corporation specializing in researching, developing, and manufacturing casting aluminum alloys, deforming aluminum alloys, functional alloys, intelligent metal molds, automotive aluminum alloy wheels, and automated metallurgical equipment, serving industries such as automobiles, high-speed rail, power electronics, aerospace, shipping, and military sectors. In 2015, Hebei SITONG New Material Company, one of its subsidiaries, was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
Comprising 23 companies located in Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Jilin, Tianjin, Shandong, Hunan, Guangdong, Singapore, Thailand, and the United States, Lizhong Group employs over 8,000 people. In 2015, the group's total sales revenue exceeded 13 billion RMB.
With a production capacity of 700,000 tons of aluminum alloys, Lizhong Group is the largest producer of functional, casting, and deforming alloys in China; it also has an annual production capacity of 13 million wheels and 800 molds, making it one of the largest producers of automotive aluminum alloy wheels in China. Lizhong Group was the first national high-tech enterprise to successfully develop high-purity A356 aluminum-silicon-magnesium-titanium alloys, efficient and energy-saving automatic melting furnaces, molten aluminum transportation technology with a radius of 60 kilometers, bilateral casting with weight reduction technology, dual-mold low-pressure casting, and liquid forging technology. The group has established non-ferrous alloy material academicians' workstations, aerospace metal material academicians' workstations, aluminum alloy and wheel mold technology academicians' workstations, four provincial engineering centers, one nationally approved laboratory, and other research institutions, holding over 230 patents.
