Kraft Foods (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (formerly Kraft Foods)
In 2004, Kraft Foods (China) Co., Ltd. invested in building a new biscuit production factory, Kraft Foods (Beijing) Co., Ltd., in the Yizhuang Economic Development Zone, Beijing. All production lines from the existing Beijing factory, Beijing Nabisco Food Co., Ltd., were moved to the new factory, which began operations in 2007. The new factory will provide products for the Chinese market and export to the entire Asia-Pacific region, including Australia.
Construction of the Kraft Foods Beijing factory was completed in September 2006, and production started in June 2007. The production area covers 41,000 square meters, with plans for four production lines in the first phase, capable of producing up to 60,000 tons. The relocation to the Beijing factory marks a significant step toward becoming the preferred biscuit factory for customers.
