In April 1992, PIKO Model Manufacturing Co. Ltd was established in Sonneberg, Germany, with its founder Dr. René F Wilfer, who is now the General Manager of PIKO. For over fifty years, PIKO's model trains have been leading the toy industry as a world-renowned product, known for their realistic imitation and meticulous details. PIKO Asia Limited was founded in Hong Kong in 2005.
In May 2007, due to development needs and strong interest in the Chinese market, PIKO established its Chinese branch at Xintang Road, Chaolang Industrial Area, Dongguan City. The Dongguan branch mainly produces toy train models, all of which are sold overseas.
The Dongguan PIKO has the most advanced production equipment in the world, such as fully automated spray lines, 2-6 color pad printing machines, automatic injection molding machines, advanced plate printing technology, ensuring high-quality production.
