Ningbo British International School (NBIS) is part of the Zhejiang Wanli Education Group, a dynamic and innovative organization at the forefront of educational reform in China. NBIS occupies a brand-new, state-of-the-art campus equipped with high-quality facilities. From 2005 to 2016, it followed the Australian Curriculum (ACARA) and was authorized by DECS, the South Australian Department of Education and Children’s Services, aligning with its origins and the needs of its primarily Australian expatriate community.
In 2011, NBIS adopted the Cambridge Secondary Curriculum and became a Cambridge Examination Centre (CN625). By 2017, it had also implemented the Cambridge Primary Curriculum, becoming authorized to deliver Cambridge Primary and Secondary programs leading to IGCSE exams and A-Levels. Cambridge Assessment International Examinations are renowned for providing high-quality international education from Year 1 to Year 11, while A-Level success opens doors to top global universities.
