KONE in China

Established in December 1996 in Kunshan, China, KONE Elevator Co., Ltd. is the primary elevator and escalator manufacturing base in the Asia-Pacific region for the KONE Group. In 2013, KONE inaugurated its new KONE Park and R&D center in Kunshan, which is the largest production and R&D facility globally, spanning 240,000 square meters. KONE China not only fulfills domestic demand but also exports products to more than 90 countries and regions, including Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Middle East.

By the end of 2014, KONE China operated 50 branches, 60 offices, 368 service sites nationwide, and had approximately 10,300 employees.
