Jake Burton Carpenter established Burton Snowboards in his Vermont barn in 1977, dedicating his life to snowboarding. He played a crucial part in elevating snowboarding from a backyard pastime to a global sport through pioneering product development, supporting top-tier athletes, and advocating for more ski resorts to embrace snowboarding.

We initiated operations in Asia in 1999 and officially registered our Chinese office in 2006. Currently, we operate from our Shanghai headquarters and a branch in Kunshan.
