公司生产厂区占地面积99900平方米，拥有用于铁路工程机械产品制造试验的铁路专用线总长度2500米。配备了各类生产装备350多台套，计量检测设备、仪器190多台件。目前年生产能力及维修各种车辆150多台，铁路电气化接触网器材8000吨，热浸镀锌15000吨，年产值超过3亿元。
公司已通过ISO9001质量管理体系认证，并拥有包括电气化配件产品制造、电气化施工作业车生产维修等多项生产资质。在近五十年的发展历程中，承担了我国电气化铁路科研与技术开发、设计、施工的主要任务，参与了我国第一条开行重载单元列车的大秦电气化铁路工程、第一条时速200公里的广深电气化铁路工程、第一条采用多种供电和信号自动化控制新技术的秦沈电气化客运专线等重大电气化铁路工程的施工与建设。
公司在城市轨行车辆制造、大修方面实力雄厚。自2001年成功研发国内首台跨座式单轨施工作业车以来，2002年又推出了DZ1型电气化接触网施工作业车，2009年基于第一代产品进一步研发出国内第二代跨座式单轨施工作业车，赢得了社会各界的高度认可。
为了适应市场需求的变化，公司于2008年开始拓展国际市场，成功中标乌兹别克斯坦配件项目，提升了公司的国际影响力。
