What we do
Our core focus and offering are on IT services for International companies in the Chinese market. That includes 5 key pillars: Experience Elevation, Wechat Solutions & Platforms, Web Solutions & Platforms, Mobility Services, Valtech Inside & Cloud Services, Valtech Data & Innovation.
Responsibilities:
New business (70%)
You have to bring in your own network to pursue opportunities in our 3 major focused verticals (Automotive, Luxury / Retail and B2B).
You should have a very strong network in order to convince this network to work with Valtech hoping that you will be able to lead the entire pre-sales cycle and coordinate with global and local teams and different locations in China and abroad on:
- Qualifying Requirements from prospect-end to be able to identify scope of services and needs to prepare sales proposals.
- Coordinating with the team to identify and qualify leads, ensuring a seamless transition from initial interest to active engagement in the sales process.
- Answering customers’ RFP’s and RFI’s for our local and global sales teams.
- Preparing Sales proposals including Powerpoint and Quotation.
- Meeting with Prospects including preparation of presentations about the Valtech Service Offering.
Portfolio / Account Management (30%)
- Build long lasting relationships and trust with existing customers or prospects in the automotive and luxury sectors.
- Engagement with the customers and interpretation of their needs and derivation of advice for prospective products that are aligned with the customers’ demands.
- Regular communication with BD and top management team and project team with solution advice, proposals, presentations, and other customer communications.
- Liaise with the marketing team to undertake demand-generating activities such as trade shows or customer workshops.
- Manage a portfolio of key client relationships, acting as client relationship lead for key clients
KPIs:
New business:
- 4 Million RMB deals closing of leads brought by yourself of your network the *** year, we expect to see half of this closed in the *** 6 months.
Account Management or Existing Clients:
- Re-engagement or upsell of existing customers to 20% of the project value. 1M RMB deals closing on upsell of existing customers to 20% of the project values. This should not come from the team or PM but should be initiated by you either through meetings, rituals or conversations.
Leads & opportunities:
- Bring 1 new lead minimum per month from his own personal network. Is considered a lead only opportunities that we are invited to send a proposal for.
Experience, Attributes & qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years selling professional services, consulting and outsourcing deals in a senior solution, sales management and/or bid management capacity.
- Bachelor degree in commercial field
- Budget knowledge (Invoice, planning, quotation)
- Experience building relationships with and selling to C-level executive clients.
- Demonstrate deep content, industry and business acumen within area of sales with a good understanding of at least 2 or 3 services offerings we have out of the 5 listed in the *** page..
- Self-motivated, good communication skills in both english and chinese and interpersonal savvy.
- Flexibility to accommodate client and project travel requirements.
- Legal knowledge (Warranty, confidentiality)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (for example mail, ppt, presentation)
- Autonomous.
- Strategic thinking and acting
- Result oriented
- Customer strategy and roadmap
- Acquisition competence (key person customer, network)
- Good Understanding of Design, Software Development, QA, Devops, Cloud & Infrastructure
- Bonus if you have worked with Western solutions or technology provider (e.g. Sitecore, Adobe, Salesforce) of if you have worked with one of those technologies before.
