II. Key Responsibilities
The role will focus on electronic design and delivering sustainable even strategically innovation to fulfill Asia Pacific R&D team and ensure R&D support long term growth of APEX Tool Group by creating technology and innovation leadership in the market.
- Conducts end to end electronic design to ensure the final product could meet product specifications and customer needs according to ATG new product development process.
- Be responsible for electronic system design quality, cost and lead time in NPD/NPI projects.
- Conduct pre-development efforts of electronic system.
- Be responsible for existing product lifecycle management efforts (derivatives, cost saving, VAVE, quality improvement, process change, BOM change etc.), maintenance and field quality feedback of electronic system.
- Take structure design approach to accomplish electronic system design, including System/Module/Components design and versification/verification according to V model.
- Take DF-X (reliability, quality, manufacturability, serviceability, cost etc..) into electronic design.
- (Staff Engineer) Conduct product system architecture design together with System Architect and other technical discipline, such as Mechanical/Firmware/Software discipline.
- (Staff/Sr. engineer) Conduct electronic (sub) system architecture design, including requirement management, module specification, building block define, electronic system cost analysis etc. to ensure the electronic system would deliver market needs.
- (Staff/Sr. engineer) Conduct product/electronic system design/peer review focus on electronic system.
- (Sr./Staff engineer) Conduct electronic system design simulation and analysis.
- (Sr./Staff engineer) Coach and lead junior engineers in project.
- Responsible for product design documentation, such as: tollgate documents, design review, release report, manuals etc.
- Drive continuous improvement in technology department.
III. Requirement

- Bachelor or master’s in electronic engineering, computer and automation or related.
- (Staff/Sr. engineer) essential leadership skill, such as coaching, manage performance, time management etc.
- (Staff/Sr. engineer) essential knowledge of project management.
- Experienced in specification break down, schematic creation, layout, feasibility study, system scenarios buildup, specification generation, system optimization, cost analysis, D/P FMEA, DFA, DFM, DFR, DFC.
- (Staff/Sr. Engineer) Very good techniques in concept creation, requirement management, electronic system architecture.
- Basic understanding of product compliance.
- (Staff/Sr. Engineer) Strong system debug and quality analysis skill.
- (Staff/Sr. Engineer) Experienced in reliability model and design.
- Familiar with power electronics, sensor conditioning, embedded system, preferable with firmware development experience.
- Understanding of electronic system manufacturing and quality assurance.
- Understand electronic system should cost of electronic system.
- Good skill on CAD tools, simulation tools such as Multisim, Pspice or Ltspice etc., and data analysis tool such as Mathcad, MATLAB, Minitab or equivalent
- Strong communication skills and a team player.
- Can read and write in English on technical communications.
- (Staff engineering) Fluent in English and good presentation skill.
- Be able to travel to customer, supplier.
