Garment Technician

1. Make Technical evaluation on samples to ensure the correct fitting, workmanship and measurements during all the process from the proto sample development to the pre-productionsample before the production.

2. Check proto samples, Size set samples (with size grade) and pre-production sample FITTING ON DUMMY – MEASUREMENTS – FINISHING, READ TECHNICAL COMMENTS FROM CUSTOMER TECHCNICIEN IN ENGLISH – MAKE CLEAR COMMENTS IN ENGLISH WITH pictures and sketch details to help explain/solve problems.

3. Coordinate with suppliers，explain customer’s key comments to sample room, make sure pattern maker and machinist understand the requirement. Assist pattern maker alter pattern to get better fitting.

4. Train suppliers and help them well understand all customer technical requests, brands, quality and workmanship requested.

5. Work closely with Supplier, merchandiser, Quality controller, and customer technician. Help detect in advance and find technical solutions during productions step when necessary.

Role Qualifications:

1．Have relevant technical knowledge in ladies and children wear.

2. A college degree or relevant technical degree in clothing or textile field is preferrable

3. Good knowledge and understanding of the clothing industry, including: fabric, pattern making, fitting, grading, construction, costing and production.

4. Familiar with Australia clothing market, quality and requirement is preferrable

5. English is required in written & spoken.

6. Good sense at responsibility and teamwork.
