Director/Sr. Director, Business Development

We are currently building the Global Business Development group and are looking for an energetic business development professional in China to join our team.

 

Responsibilities:

Work with the global Business Development team to identify target opportunities and companies in China for in-bound and out-bound programs

Work closely with R&D teams in China and play an important role in building Legend’s pipeline.

Engage in activities including attending key partnering and therapy area conferences to monitor new scientific developments, and developing contacts Participate in internal due diligence activities Assist BD transactions lead during business negotiations

Support Global Head of BD in presenting licensing and collaboration opportunities to senior management Requirements PhD in biological sciences, e.g.

 

Qualifications：

1. Cell biology and/or immunology is required

2.5-8 years experience in business development in the pharma/biotech industry a plus

3. Strong knowledge & experience in the drug development process

4. Expertise in cell therapy with excellent verbal and writing communication skills in English

5. Experience in working with cross-functional teams Prior experience in BD transactions is a plus.
