We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Specialist to manage the sourcing and purchasing of products related to electric vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the EV parts, supply chain dynamics, and a passion for sustainability. You will be responsible for building relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of key components and products. Working environment: small team, person autonomous and able to travel often to visit suppliers. Highly motivated for a new project. Key Responsibilities:
61 Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for EV components (e.g., batteries, charging stations, power electronics, electric motors, specialized parts).
61 Conduct market research to stay current on industry trends, new technologies, and pricing.
61 Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve the best possible value.
61 Manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from raising purchase orders to tracking deliveries.
61 Ensure all purchased products meet our quality standards and technical specifications.
61 Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
61 Collaborate closely with the engineering, logistics, and inventory management teams.
61 Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks.
61 Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
61 Cooperate and report to headquarters in Spain and China Team Managers.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
61 Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist, Purchasing Agent, or in a similar role, preferably within the automotive, electric vehicle, or related technology sectors.
61 Strong technical understanding of electric vehicle systems and components.
61 Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
61 Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
61 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
61 Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
61 Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
