· Analyze existing embedded software to add features, make modifications, fix bugs, and/or port to different platforms.

· Tests software designs and code at the unit and system level to insure that all requirements are met and the highest software quality is achieved.

· Identifies product requirement or performance issues. Works with software team leader to negotiate resolution.

· Manages small projects and technical resources, including planning, estimating and follow through.

· Works with vendors and other parties to further define requirements and to resolve issues.

What You Need

· Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.

· 5+ years of embedded software development or testing.

· 5+ years of C and C++ language (run with STL and boost).

· Experience on developing and debugging software in a real-time OS, Linux is a must, FreeRTOS or uCOS is a plus.

· Experience on Linux application layer development is a must, Familiar with POSIX api is a plus.

· Good skill in data structure and algorigthm, including queue/list/link/stack/…

· Familiar with linux alsa and multi-media framework Gstreamer is better

· Experience on linux uboot/kernel/rootfs/dts development is better

· Familiar with UART, I2C, SPI interface is a must. Familiar with common audio interface including SPDIF/I2S/DigitalMIC is a plus.

· Good written in English, oral English communication is a plus.

What is Nice to Have

· Familiar with UML is helpful

· Experience in development of Speaker/Sound Bar is preferred

· Practical experience in Yocto is preferred
