Technical Engineer, Shocks & Struts

· Develop new supplier based on products specification and conduct technical guidance and training to the new supplier to make sure supplier understand and meet or exceed the products requirements.

· Apply advanced knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and procedures to complete complex projects, with expertise in sensors, electronics, and/or software development for automotive applications

· Provide the material or process solution based on the supplier process as technical input to help supplier to meet the products requirements.

· Optimize supplier technical development process for the active suppliers based on promoted technical requirements.

· Initiate reference DVP to validate and assess product performance.

· Support the global projects on schedule, included but not limited technical review, process assessment & solution based on requirements.

· Lesson learns management and continuous process improvement etc.

*Qualifications (Education/ Experience/ Key Competencies)

· Bachelor’s degree or above and major in Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or Vehicle Engineering; with minimum 5 years’ direct experience in Shocks and Struts technology or Engine Diagnostics

· Basic knowledge of internal combustion engines, with previous exposure to automotive industry highly preferred (experience with major OEM or automotive parts supplier)

· Evaluate functional risk, develop and implement validation plans for sensor parts and related materials, and engage directly in high-risk projects (DVP&R, DFMEA, PPAP experience required)

· Detail-oriented, hard-working and with integrity and can-do attitude

· Ability to work independently, communicate effectively with teammates

· Able to work effectively in a multiple project environment

· Multi-discipline interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

· Excellent team player and with interpersonal skill

· Fluent communication both in Chinese and English.
