Field Service engineer

1. Responds to customer calls; analyzes, and troubleshoots Excimer laser system problems via telephone or at customer site;

2. Performs system installation, repair, upgrades and preventive maintenance on installed systems.

3. Travel as required for the purpose of performing service activities at customer sites.

4. Prepare updates and maintain accurate logs, equipment performance data, service records, parts usage documentation and diagnostic update.

5. Serve as a point of contact between customers and factory support team; communicate customer requirements, system performance, and reliability issues.

6. Help the service administrator to maintain clear CRM records and record of parts inventory.

7. Ensure local stock is kept up-to-date and coordinate shipment of tools and

parts

Qualification & Requirements

1.Bachelor or higher in Lasers, Electro-optics, Mechanical or EE Engineering.

2. Prior experience servicing Capital Equipment or Excimer lasers in an industrial environment is advantageous.

3. Self-driven, able to work independently, and also as part of a team on 24/7 standby.

4. Good communication skills in both spoken and written English.

5. Available for travel to Germany/Korea/Japan/*** for training and service support.

6. Comfortable donning cleanroom suits and be physically fit and able to lift objects up to 20kg
