Responsibilities:
1. Live the Safety stand, adhere to the safety responsibilities
--Ensure team‘s behavior compliance with safety rules and have right sense of hazard.
--Close audit outsource vendor /Customers to work under OC’s safety rule.
Metrics
--0 accident in maintenance team
--Successful implementation on working at heights
--0 non-compliance with test equipment
2. Knowing Our Customers
The position will have input for the development of the strategy to identify and meet Customer needs for all products and services in BM China. The value of our offerings must be understood as well as the critical needs of our customer base. The position must possess a working knowledge of customer fitness for use as well as the value stream to our customer’s customer.

--Setting Strategy or Development of Strategy
The position collaborates with the Customer Services, Marketing and Sales team for the development and execution of a quality strategy that meets the needs of our customers. This is the basic to delivering on the vision of BM being the global market leader in the regional businesses.
Metrics
--Managers adopt the Plan-Do-Check-Act mind set cycle to improve Quality, Cost, Delivery metrics.
--Quality, Cost, Delivery improvement year over year
4. Directing Operations
--Provides effective vision and teamwork effectiveness to the Plant Managers and Plant Quality Leaders.
--Ensure that robust improvement plans exist and are executed at business, plant and functional levels.
--Train and champion all levels of leadership teams on Quality tools, processes, systems and culture through coordination of training vision, focused projects.
--Ensure that standard operating procedures exist to meet both the short and long-term needs of the business.
--Develop and execute a regional talent management strategy for Quality. This includes rigorous performance standards and expectations.
Metrics
--Completion of quality events and activities based on identification of requirements from the business strategy, Customer feedback, Quality assessments, other means to identify competitive gaps.
--Plants and support areas continue to implement/sustain assigned Quality enablers.
--Products consistently meet customer needs.
--Best practice sharing and application
--Use the execution tool to monitor and control implementation of projects/initiatives across the plant and functions.
5. Supporting Plants and OEM quality.
--Assist plant quality to improve quality issues.
--Support plant TPM QM pillar activity
--Supporting OME quality issues.
--Supporting MOC from ATC/MKT requirement
6. Developing quality leadership capabilities in our people.
The leader will develop skills and grow capabilities in the assigned facility, including:
--Coach, mentor, and re-direct personnel in the plant to develop Extraordinary Leaders.
Job Requirements:
Experience:
--10+ Yrs of proven experience and results in quality and implementing Quality tools and systems at business and plant levels.
--Proven of constant exposure and interaction with organizations that are well recognized for leading or promoting world-class practices in Quality.
--3-5 years experience in a large plant Quality Leader.
--Multi-business experience within either OC, external to OC or a combination of the two.
Knowledge and Skills:
--Bachelor’s Degree is required. Graduate degree is preferred.
--Working knowledge of Quality Systems and some type of Quality Function Deployment process required.
--Knowledge of regulations, government codes & standards.
--Has the ability to coach and evaluate executive talent.
Abilities and Personal Characteristics:
--Leads with a clear view of where the business needs to be in 1-3 years. Leads and gives direction through other leaders.
--Strong customer orientation is a must. Has an external understanding of the customer’s value chain as well as a propensity to start with the value creation for the customer *** in all problem solving or idea generation.
--Change agent. Comfortable with designing for the future while managing day-to-day Operations, Quality issues. Able to anticipate risks and propose tactical plans for mitigation.
--Ability to travel, as required.
--Critical thinking, problem solving and process-oriented mindset are required.
