We are seeking an experienced HR Supervisor to lead the day-to-day HR and Admin operations across our APAC region. This role will ensure seamless implementation of HR programs, compliance with local labor laws, and efficient administrative support. This role is critical in driving employee engagement, operational excellence, and supporting the region’s growth through effective HR practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Operations Management:
- Oversee daily HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, records management, and HR system maintenance.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee lifecycle changes.
2. Compliance & Employment Law:
- Monitor and ensure adherence to local labor laws across APAC countries.
- Update policies/procedures to align with legal changes and mitigate risks.
3. Talent Acquisition:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for junior-mid level roles; partner with hiring managers.
- Enhance onboarding programs till probationary review and positive new hire experience.
4. Compensation & Benefits:
- Administer regional payroll, benefits, and incentive programs.
- Support annual salary reviews and market benchmarking.
5. Employee Relations:
- Address employee queries and grievances confidentially and fairly.
- Foster a positive work environment through engagement initiatives and communication.
6. Performance:
- Coordinate performance review cycles and goal-setting processes.
7. Office Administrative Management:
- Supervise office operations (facilities, vendors, supplies, travel…) to ensure efficient administrative support for regional teams.
8. Continuous Improvement:
- Streamline HR/Admin processes and leverage technology for efficiency.
9. Perform other ad-hoc duties as required and assigned by the manager.
Qualification:
61 Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
61 5+ years in HR Generalist or Operations roles, with 2+ years of experience leading HR teams (direct or indirect reports).
61 Proven experience in HR operations with knowledge of labor laws in key countries e.g., China.
61 Strong understanding of C&B structures and recruitment best practices.
61 A self-motivator with enthusiasm and initiative, strong execution.
61 Good verbal and written interpersonal communication skills with good English.
61 Good coordination skill, including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and recommend possible solutions.
61 Skilled at building trust with local teams.
61 Track record of developing junior HR staff.
Preferred Qualification:
61 Experience in HR systems e.g., SAP.
61 Ability to balance employee needs with business priorities
