Mission Statement:
Responsible for supplier overall performance to secure stable and reliable material supply for assigned category at best quality and at competitive costs, drive supplier development
Main Accountabilities
61 Develops the LBU/Regional supplier network on the assigned category.
61 Understands business imperatives and develop category strategy to support business growth plan.
61 Defines strategic goals, KPIs and implementation plan on the assigned category.
61 Drives the supplier qualification process and ensures the supply base is and remains fully qualified and compliant in cooperation with the Technical & Quality dept.
61 Plans and conducts, or ensures supplier assessments/audit, including assessment reporting and findings, verifies effective closure of assessment findings, by the supplier.
61 Develops and supports suppliers to achieve ongoing conformance with Accelleron requirements and continual improvement in quality, delivery and cost
61 Designs & implements plans for local sourcing to reach the business targets, supports local and global strategic sourcing initiatives as required.
61 Responsible for new part’s qualification process and on-time/on-quality release.
61 Applies standards on health, safety, environment and business ethics within operational work contract management and negotiation.
61 Build stable reliable and cost-effective material supply channel for assigned categories.
61 Establish effective and healthy long term strategic partner relationship with key/ major suppliers to improve supply flexibility.
61 Close cooperation with the corresponding functions in the BU headquarters.
61 Strong Leadership and initiative, good team work.
61 Take on additional responsibilities that may be assigned by the line manager from time to time.
61 Supplier relationship management
Knowledge , Skill and Experience
61 University and above is a plus. Proficient in both English and Chinese
61 More than 5 years relevant working experience in machining or iron casting
61 Strong analytical, mathematical and creative problem-solving skills.
61 Strong business sense and service excellence attitude.
61 Rich experience on quality assurance and project management.
61 Effective & transparent communication internally, externally and between different units
61 Strong leadership and initiative, good team work.
61 Able to combine the strategic thinking with tactical daily work.
61 Excellent reporting skill.
61 Willing to work under high pressure.
