General Program Support
61 Ensure all communications and requests (eg. ECR, ECP, ECM, MCM) between COMAC and Safran Cabin are communicated to the right parties and systems promptly
61 Follow-up on all communications and requests until the agreement between the parties is reached
61 Support all the work to meet customer and internal KPIs.
61 Upon request, provide coordination support to the Safran Cabin OSS team in China
61 Ensure all deliverables and documents are uploaded to COMAC systems on time
61 Coordinate relevant meetings and capture all meeting minutes and actions between Safran Cabin and COMAC teams
61 Support the interprétation and translation between Chinese and English during all meetings and any documentation when necessary
61 Work closely with attribute leaders, quality, engineering, contracts, sales, and program teams to help facilitate the program’s objectives
61 Perform as an individual contributor but with the mindset of how one’s work impacts the entire team
Engineering Support
61 Support all translation and coordination related but not limited to the design, development, qualification, certification, and testing
61 Support all technical discussions, joint development phases, and design reviews at Safran Cabin and COMAC sites
61 Establishment of Minutes of Meetings and follow-up of action items for all engineering meetings
61 Collaborate with team leadership to determine work prioritization
61 Explain engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical information to COMAC, SADRI and other cross-functional teams
Quality Support
61 Support the Quality team with the coordination, communication and follow-up for all FRR, QDN, and SCAN found at the COMAC FAL from open to closure
61 Support the Quality team’s RCCA to provide needed information at COMAC FAL
61 Concern resolution with engineering and attribute teams
OSS Support
61 Coordinate with OSS team to resolve NCR/FRR from initiation to closure
61 Support OSS & HB in Rework Cost Validation (RCV) negotiations with COMAC
61 Align with Quality team and act as final authority on determination of liability prior to RCV negotiations with COMAC
61 Defend HB position in negotiations with COMAC to ensure the highest return for OSS rework
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical, or related field
Experience:
Minimum 3 years related experience in aerospace or electrical engineering design
Computer Skills:
61 Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
61 Proficient working knowledge of CAD & PLM Systems
Other Skills:
61 Good knowledge of common materials and manufacturing processes used in the aerospace industry
61 Good organization and communication skills
61 Ability to work well in a team environment and cross-functionally
61 Good communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills
61 Work independently and be self-motivated
61 Working knowledge to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Additional Preferred Skills:
61 Good knowledge of Aviation regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA)
61 Good experience with Interior design or trim & finish requirement
61 Knowledge of configuration management principles and quality management system
61 Fluency in Chinese and English language
61 Traveling is required
61 Protracted or irregular hours may be required
61 Relocation to another Safran facility may be required
