About the job

As our new Sales Manager, you will join Actona Direct Limited reporting to the Sales Director in China and you will focus on developing the Chinese B2B market.

Your main task will be getting Actona furniture on the floor and getting the Actona name known among the biggest players in the Chinese furniture market.

The new Sales Manager will ideally be based in Huizhou and have lots of travelling (probably up to 100 days per year). Working from other locations may also be possible.

Your role will include the following responsibilities:

1. Identify the right segments- and players in the Chinese market.

2. Building up a sales pipeline from A-Z.

3. Sell furniture and develop furniture retail customers in the Chinse market.

4. Work closely with our global sales team to find the right products for the Chinese market.

The ideal candidate:

1. You have at least 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in furniture sales to retailers (B2B) in China

2. You already have a well-established network of potential clients and a proven track record in building up a sales pipeline from A-Z.

3. Strong at building C-Suite relationships for long-lasting corporation.

4. You want to be instrumental in driving revenue and profitability for Actona Group, directly impacting its financial success and market positioning.

5. Excellent- and client centric communication skills.

6. Self-starter, result driven, extroverted, critical-analytic, “never give up” attitude and willingness to always go the extra mile.

7. You have strong user skills in MS Office package, such as Word, Excel, Power Point etc.

8. Fluent in Chinese and intermediate level in English are both mandatory requirements.

9. Experience working with Europeans, possess a Western mindset.
