Senior Engineer, Mechanical

61 Ensure mechanical designs comply with Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) standards.

61 Perform tolerance analysis, electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, thermal analysis, and design for manufacturing (DFM) reviews.

61 Participate in design reviews for new optical module products.

61 Design tooling and jigs for sample builds.

61 Collaborate with optical, layout, and thermal engineering teams to deliver complete module designs.

61 Lead troubleshooting and resolution of assembly-related issues.

61 Conduct failure analysis and provide technical support to clients and production sites.

61 Prepare and maintain technical and regulatory documentation.

61 Provide training and mentorship to new team members.

Qualification:

61 Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

61 Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design for optical transceivers or Optical Sub-Assembly (OSA) products.

61 Familiarity with various optical module MSAs such as OSFP, QSFP, and QSFP-DD.

61 Strong understanding of optical module design principles.

61 Proven skills in troubleshooting and failure analysis in both customer and production environments.

61 Proficient in preparing standardized documentation and failure analysis reports.

Location:

This role is based in Shenzhen. On-site presence is required.
