Main Responsibilities
1.Evaluate the customer's inquiry request and technical specification, deliver technically correct & commercially valid proposals that best reflect the customer requirement in a timely manner.
2.Generate technical support documentation where appropriate e.g. Process & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) or Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Preliminary GAD ,Components size Calculation book,Supply scope, control philosophies, component data sheets and Quality plans for inclusion in quotations.
3.Interpret customer process conditions and enquiry specifications, including pump sizing, selection and proposed system design and convert this information into an Vacuum/Compressor System proposal.
4.Interface with enabling departments (e.g. Legal, Risk Management, Applications, Market Sector Management, Technical) to ensure validity of the technical and commercial offer taking into account all customer specification.
5.Support PC with details of the customer requirements.
6.Support PEs /DEs to get clear specs for all major components
7.Interface with suppliers qualified by Chinco to get technical support and competitive price and delivery to support the cost estimation.
8.Identify risks for new orders at an order handover meeting before project execution.
9.Prepare/Update cost estimate sheet using all available information and based on the stage of the project involve product company and Support for sales quotation.
10.Within the designated region participate in technical clarification meetings with customers& provide technical documentation if necessary)..
11.Provide ***-line support in the region for technical, application and product enquiries for systems received from customers, distributors, customer care and the sales team prior to the sale of equipment.
12.Develop and maintain high quality proposal and presentation material for the Systems business. This should focus on promoting and marketing the benefits of combining products, infrastructure, technologies and capabilities.
13.Manage work time optimally to ensure that all enquiries are answered in a professional and timely manner and within market expectations.
14.Take ownership of pre-sale technical issues for systems business and seek resolution with the appropriate specialist.
15.Work collaboratively with Key Account Manager / Sales Engineer and external customers as well as relevant product company. Communicate proposal finish dates and lead times to either Sales Engineers and/or external customer to ensure a transparent workflow.
16.Communicate details of leads and opportunities to Key Account Managers as necessary. Communicate any market and competitive information as appropriate.
Skills / Knowledge / Experience
1.A diploma/degree qualification in Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
2.Have a good basic knowledge of related majors, and the ability to expand other related professional knowledge of business needs.
3.Have a strong knowledge for chemical processes, and the capability use professional software
4.Well organized and able to plan effectively and set priorities. Analytical techniques and computer literacy.
5.The ability to provide technically and commercially valid quotations.
6.Had written and verbal communication skills in English.
7.Good administrative and personal disciplines to handle multi-task, time- constrained activities, driven by customer requirements.
8.Ability to work as a team. Good interpersonal and communication skills for communicating interfacing with customers and colleagues in supporting functions.
9.Self-starter and motivator with a committed approach to meeting the goals of the division.
