Senior Electronic Engineer (LED Lighting)

1. Design and building prototype devices based on the R&D projects developed in the company.

2. Testing and characterization of device performance, including LED lighting fixtures, LED light controllers and all the devices and accessories related to its proper performance and usage.

3. Assist in the development process from initial technical research, prototypes preparation, engineering samples build, testing and validation, product certification to mass production.

4. Assess testing and validation procedures and methodology.

5. Schematic design, Bill-of-material (BOM) generation, components sourcing/selection/validation and costing preparation.

6. Product technical documentation preparation (user and installation manuals, data sheets, catalogues).

7. Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in electronic design and apply them to the design process.

8. Conduct simulations and physical testing to validate the circuit design, including circuit analysis, electromagnetic analysis, EMC/EMI requirements/regulations.

9. Assistance in customer technical support.

10. Assistance with new suppliers and components sourcing.

11. Assistance with product roadmap definition.

12. Other tasks requested by the Technical Director.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree (Electronic Engineering)

2. Familiar with International Electrical and Lighting regulations and standards (CE, LVD, EMC, UL, ErP)

3. At least 5 years of experience in LED lighting industry

4. Flexible/Solid PCB Layout design of LED lighting products

5. Electronic schematics

6. Embedded systems

7. Familiar with CAD/CAE software (AutoCAD, Solid Works or similar)

8. Familiar with LED products production processes

9. Familiar with lighting simulation software (DIALUX)

10. Familiar with lighting testing equipment (Integrating sphere, photogoniometer, luxmeter)

11. Good communication and presentation skills
