Enterprise Architect

The Job• Collaborate with EA colleagues to develop global strategic architecture visions for the organisation in conjunction with senior stakeholders• Be the architecture lead for the China market and keep the wider EA & SA architecture teams abreast of developments and opportunities to further serve this market• Be the ‘go to’ person to support organisation in building upon the growth of the China market by working with stakeholders in Relationships (Sales), Strategy and Customer Services• Analyse business needs to provide definition of the future enterprise architecture to support the China roadmap for ACCA• Work with senior stakeholders to identify maturity gaps and the risks and opportunities these create• Collaborate with projects and programmes to develop achievable plans to realise future business architecture• Support assurance and governance activities to ensure projects and programmes deliver in line with the strategic architectureThe Person• Knowledge and experience of the following - membership organisations, ecommerce, learning and assessment technologies and global organisations• Experience of working in China in an Enterprise Architect, or senior IT Architect position with an enterprise scope. Preferably, supplemented with global business experience• Experience of data architecture to support working and sharing data with 3rd party organisations• Strong understanding of the impact of the Chinese Cybersecurity Law and Personal Information Protection Law on international businesses, and how this impact the need for data localisation and cross border data transfers• Demonstrable experience of the main theories and methods of enterprise architecture, and be familiar with the common EA methods and framework, such as TOGAF, DODAF, Zachman, SAFe and Archimate• Have strong business acumen and modelling ability and be familiar with the relevant concepts and artifacts used in the practice of EA, such as Business Capability Models, Blueprints, Roadmaps, Transition States, Value Streams, and Impact Analysis. EA Tooling experience would be advantageous​• Be familiar with the design of cloud native architectures and the design of loosely coupled, composable, architectures• Business level English (strong written and spoken). This role requires cooperation and communication with both internal and external stakeholders on a global scale (with a focus on China and UK regions), and the successful candidate needs to be comfortable operating at a CxO level in fluent English• Ability to work independently. This is an Individual Contributor role (no subordinates) and reports directly into the Head of Architecture
