We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A Specialist to join the Finance team at Rohde & Schwarz China. This role will support the controller in driving business performance, risk control, and financial forecasting across the systems and service business. The ideal candidate should have solid financial knowledge, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent SAP experience.

Your tasks

61 Drive the system and service business performance by making sure actions being developed and tracked to minimize risk exposure and realize opportunities.

61 Support the controller in acting as a business partner to Sales, Contract Management, Project Management, and the Service team. Ensure project contract terms and conditions are properly governed, and associated risks are well controlled.

61 Review and validate project costing, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, and other relevant financial activities to ensure accuracy.

61 Assist in preparing rolling forecasts for turnover, GM, and other key business metrics, enabling proactive financial planning and decision-making.

61 Support controller to do customer credit control. Including Credit Term Application. Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures followed.

Your qualifications

61 Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.

61 5+ years of overall combined finance experience and project management experience.

61 Strong logical thinking, and proficient commercial terms understanding.

61 Excellent SAP experience and Excel skills. Familiar with FI &CO, SD ,CS module.

61 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.

61 Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are highly preferred

61 Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

61 Good business acumen for problem solving.

61 Confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders.

61 Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize a demanding workload.

61 Fluent in written and spoken English.
