Job Summary:

This role is accountable for providing strategic leadership in developing and executing world-class quality management systems across global toy and FMCG operations, ensuring compliance while driving continuous improvement in product excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Leadership & Strategy

- Define and implement a global quality strategy aligned with business growth and quality compliance expectations;

- Establish quality KPIs linking manufacturing performance to customer satisfaction metrics;

- Champion a culture of quality excellence across R&D, Production and distribution facilities;

2. QMS Development and Team Leadership

- Mentor a team of quality talents of QA, Lab and QC, and further enhance the quality management system to meet emerging market requirements;

- Act as a connector between manufacturing, R&D, commercial and regulatory teams to integrate quality outcomes;

3. Operational Excellence

- Drive continuous improvements in product and manufacturing reliability and product defect KPIs;

- Reduce customer complaints rate;

- Develop control plans for raw materials, in-process QC and finished goods.

- Analyze quality metrics by using the statistical tools, e.g. FMEA.

- Deep understanding of regulatory systems of FDA, ISO,GMP etc.

4. Supplier & Compliance Management

- Partner with NPD, S&P to optimize the supplier audit and approval system;

- Lead supplier performance improvement initiative tied to regulatory and customer standards;

- Lead cross-functional teams in new product quality planning processes;

5. Risk Mitigation

- Own the global risk assessment framework for manufacturing and commercialization;

- Partner with legal team for product issues, ensuring brand protection and regulatory alignment;

- Establish product traceability systems;

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food science, Chemistry or other related field;

2. Minimum 5+ years leadership experience in quality roles within FMCG industries;

3. Demonstrated success in building and standardizing global QMS, with working knowledge of new product quality standard setup, new process control plan, new test methodology development is preferred.

4. Strong strategic acumen, with a pragmatic, hand-on leadership style, and high integrity;

5. Good command of English Skill;

6. Lean or Six Sigma experience is a strong plus;
