Key Responsibilities:
Lighting Product Sourcing
o Source and select suppliers for lighting products.
o Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
o Monitor market trends and prices to ensure competitive sourcing.
o Prepare and process purchase orders for lighting products.
Seasonal and Lighting Product Order Management
o Follow up orders for seasonal products and lighting products.
o Communicate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
o Resolve any issues related to orders, such as delays or quality problems.
o Provide regular updates to the Category Sourcing Manager on order status.
Supplier Management
o Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
o Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews.
o Assist in resolving supplier disputes and issues.
Cost Control
o Analyze costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
o Work with suppliers to reduce costs without sacrificing quality.
Documentation and Reporting
o Maintain accurate records of purchases and order tracking.
o Prepare reports on procurement activities and order status.
Communication and Collaboration
o Work closely with internal teams, such as product development and quality control.
o Communicate effectively with suppliers and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
Experience:
o Some experience in sourcing and order management, preferably in lighting or related electronic products.
o Familiarity with procurement processes and supplier management.
Language Skills:
o Basic proficiency in English as a working language.
o Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
Skills and Abilities:
o Strong negotiation and communication skills.
o Attention to detail and accuracy.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
