Senior Tax Professional

1、Tax declaration:

1) Performs tax compliance to include the preparation and filing of direct and indirect taxes

2) Performs tax accounting to support the monthly/annual tax provision calculations and review of the relevant financial statements, particularly deferred tax computations

3) Tax Audits – Lead and partner with colleagues to successfully defend filing positions and to negotiate favorable resolutions of different opinions. Coordinate use of and manage activities of outside advisers engaged to assist in tax audit matters

4) Declaration to Statistical Bureau and Joint annual inspection to MSA

2、Tax Planning:

1) Partner with business units to proactively identify and research tax planning opportunities. Implement structural and non-structural tax planning strategies, which maximize savings on a defensible basis.

2) Evaluate tax reporting positions related to tax planning projects implemented to properly evaluate the financial statement treatment.

3) Manages the Area tax strategy and provides strategic tax advice to support business decisions and ongoing operations

3、Transfer pricing:

1) Work with businesses to develop and implement tax efficient transfer pricing

2) Review and report TP positions of all China legal entities. Coordinate 10+ TPDs’ preparation, review, comment and confirms. Monitor and identify the necessities of TP adjustments within the group Proactively supporting management in steering business development through data-driven insights.

Qualification:

1、Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance with major in taxation

2、Experience:

1) +10 years of experience in a multinational company (preferably German/European), ideally with overseas work experience

2) Experience in Tax Reporting, - Audit Management, -Planning, Tax Management (“Optimization”), and Transfer Pricing

3、Technical Skills:

- Profound knowledge of Office 365 apps is mandatory, ERP application knowledge, SAP is preferred

4、Language Skills:

- Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
