Asia Manufacturing’s unique existence is to connect the dots within supply chain to bring our fantastic LEGO products to our consumers with high responsiveness. To make sure all the decorated elements could be produced in the right way is so important that mainly rely on the decoration technology (so called Dec Tech).
Core Responsibilities
· Flex tool & Pad Mould confirmation, preparing of graphics and data for clichés manufacturing for SAT and mass production, optimize per Printing performance.
· Actively participates in tests of new technology and new products, support the launch of new products to factory and follow up, constantly seeking for improvement possibilities in NPI process.
· Maintenance of the LEGO Decoration rules and database, share knowledge internal and global.
· Collaborate on proposals to solve problematic productions and seek improvements of owned processes: pads and clichés productions, ink preparations, machines decoration setups.
· For interface between R&D Decoration and Dec tech teams in other plants.
· Provides feedback to R&D developers and participate in the development of the technology for the new decorated products and other relevant global projects.
· Accomplish other tasks assigned by manager.
Do you have what it takes?
· At least 5 years working experience in Decoration (pad printing/ tampo printing) relevant field. Over 5 years working in manufacturing environment.
· English in verbal and writing is a demand
· Has a proven knowledge or education to handle clichés drawing and other pad printing process (Pad making, Ink mixing, Clichés making, decoration machine set up, etc).
· Business English level, able to co-work with colleagues\supplier from different countries.
· Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft office, especially for Excel.
· Better has NPI experience and familiar with pad printing technology.
· Preferably in global environment due to daily communication in foreign language, dealing with different cultures, working across time zones.
· Adobe Illustrator knowledge is beneficial.
· SAP experience at user level is an advantage
