1.You will be responsible for the planning, programming, and commissioning of modern Beckhoff PLC and PC control systems used in our assembly and testing equipment.

2.You will develop the software for our special-purpose machines in Beckhoff TwinCat3 (IEC61131-3 ) or National Instruments LabWindows CVI (ANSI C).

3.You will carry out commissioning, software testing, and troubleshooting on these machines.

4.You will assist colleagues during machine installations at the customer's site.

5.You will learn about calibration and testing processes to be able to troubleshoot and optimize data analyzing and data transfer to customer equipment.

6.You will implement customer-specific modifications, upgrades, and retrofits either at customer locations or at Sonplas sites.

7.In close collaboration with the hardware planning team at our headquarters, you will play a key role in the design of retrofits and system expansions.

8.Communicating with customers and suppliers is part of your daily work, as is participating in preliminary and final acceptance tests, either in Kunshan or Straubing.

9.You will provide *** and second-level support for Sonplas systems in the Asian region.

10.In after-sales service, you will identify and integrate components from local manufacturers.

11.Your responsibilities also include customer-site visits for production support, system optimization, and training. Here, you’ll always work in close coordination with the project team.

12.You will create and update system documentation in collaboration with our headquarters.

13.You will support the sales department during the quotation process for new systems,upgrades, and modifications to existing systems with your technical expertise.

Your Profile

1.You have completed training as an electrical technician or hold a degree in electrical engineering.

2.You have extensive experience working with Beckhoff and PC-based control systems.

3.You possess solid knowledge of the programming languages IEC 61131-3 and ANSI-C.

4.Experience in machine safety as well as familiarity with country-specific requirements and standards are advantageous and enrich your profile.

6.Your high level of motivation, strong communication skills, and team spirit make you a valued colleague.

7.Excellent English and Chinese language skills are required; German is a plus.

8.You demonstrate high flexibility and commitment through your willingness to travel internationally.

9.Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is desirable.
