Technical & commercial merchandising & QA/QC at supplier factory

Working area / Place of living:

83 Your work area will be mainly in Zhejiang province and your residence must be near our strategic suppliers’ factories, which are mainly in Ningbo / Cixi / Yuyao / Yongkang / Wuyi / Yiwu area.

83 Occasional travel to Guangdong Province to support our team in the Southern Region is required.

Your duties:

83 Track the appropriate project milestones and ensure that the project plan/mass production plan is met daily by the supplier and that the tracking mechanisms are working in the factory.

83 Communicate with various external and internal departments to ensure each team member is up to date on the latest information

83 Ensure the suppliers project handling and coordination is well-organized and runs smoothly

83 Organize regular project reviews, set-up and attend meetings dedicated to forecasts/planning’s with related supplier departments

83 Perform Kick-off- and review-meetings before and after the project

83 Ensure communication is performed in a timely and sensitive manner, especially regarding any adverse events that may occur, Identify, and address conflicts (e.g., resources and schedules) to the management

83 Ensure all requirements and regulations are fully understood and appropriate processes/workflows/To-dos are implemented by all project involved departments of the supplier

83 Through interaction with the internal and factory QA/QC teams, ensure all aspects to secure a Factory Quality System are actively addressed, developed, and realized in compliance with the appropriate regulatory and internal standards.

83 Technical assistance and technical follow up of Product changes/ Adjustments / developments before and during production in close co-work with our HQ Technology Center, HQ PM, and QA/QC Team.

83 Ensure that certifications and reports are submitted in a timely manner according to required deadlines.

83 Maintain and develop strategic business relationships to our supplier / Owners / decision maker.

83 Perform product online checks during mass production according to our company regulation and product requirements.

83 Visiting suppliers / potential suppliers / factory facilities & traveling in China, currently mainly in Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Guangdong provinces and others on request

Your skills:

89 Excellent command of written and spoken English

89 Perfect and professional handling of MS Office programs (e.g., Excel)

89 Several years of experience in the field of work of this job offer

89 Strong personality and negotiation skills

89 Maturity, reliability, initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work and get things done independently.

89 Perfect self-organization and time management are your basic personality traits and come naturally to you

89 familiar with the topic’s pre-shipment inspection, golden sample, Inline mass production check

89 knowledge of IQC / PQC / OQC - general inspection and test processes is an advantage

89 Deep knowledge of European standards/Norms/regulations/requirements

and designs according to the related product ranges mentioned above is an

advantage

89 familiar with European and US safety standards and regulations is an advantage

89 A technical college degree is an advantage.

89 Very good technical (electrical & mechanical) knowledge and understanding of above-mentioned product ranges, development skills are appreciated

89 Keen knowledge of Production and Quality Management processes are preferred

89 Knowledge about Molding/tooling and manufacturing processes is an advantage

89 Willingness to work in a factory environment and travel to visit our suppliers and their manufacturing facilities as required by job duties
