职位描述

Professional Affairs responsibility is to ensure consistent management of all healthcare professional (HCP) contracts to address business objectives and cover activities related but not limited to Medical Education, Marketing activities, and Research & Development. All healthcare organization (HCO) contracts and payments related to Grants (educational and other), Sponsorships, Donations and Fellowships are also within scope.
This generally includes oversight of the contract management process, including the development of the required documentation to initiate contracts, contract negotiations and document management.
The Professional Affairs role requires close collaboration with various departments, such as Medical Education, Marketing, Compliance, R&D and Finance.
Professional Affairs ensures that all HCP and HCO engagements are in line with Smith & Nephew’s Compliance policies and local laws & regulations.
Main Tasks:
61 Interact and advise business units on entering and maintaining compliant HCP Consultant activities
61 Review and approve proposed HCP/HCO engagements and assure alignment with S&N Compliance policies and local laws & regulations
61 Exemplify a mastery of the requirements for preparation of HCP contracts, including but not limited to, substantial justification for the selection of an HCP, defining Tier/Band level in accordance with the defined Compliance Policies
61 Conducting the orientation (training) with new and existing HCPs to familiarize them with S&N processes and documentation requirements including contract terms and considerations, and other deliverables
61 Prepare contracts for HCPs and HCOs and assure timely execution
61 Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation
61 Provide contract-related issue resolution, both internally and externally
61 Communicate contract-related information to stakeholders where necessary
61 Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data to be reported in connection with the Sunshine Laws where applicable
61 Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data to be reported in connection to the MedTech Europe Disclosure Requirements and future other Transparency/Disclosure Requirements
61 Performing all duties in compliance with the defined Professional Affairs, Office of Compliance and Ethics policies and procedures as well as the company Code of Conduct and Business Principles
61 Serving as *** line of contact for conflict resolution with HCPs and HCOs respective of strategic initiatives including compensation, compliance, and non-project issues
61 Key point of contact for questions regarding HCP consultant engagement within the Cluster
61 Support new users in usage of the HCP Engagement System
61 Provide reports and presentations as required
61 Generate and analyze reports related to HCP/HCO engagement and/or payment
61 Accountable for compliance with laws/regulations/policies
Job Requirements:
61 Experience in Compliance, Contracting or Professional Affairs (or equivalent) within the medical or related industry
61 Solid understanding of preparing and managing contracts
61 Confident and professional approach with high attention to details
61 Ability to work within a highly regulated environment, following and engaging in processes and compliance as well as working to best practice
61 Excellent communication skills as well as excellent numerical skills
61 A good working knowledge of English (read & write)
61 Confident IT skills, with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Quality and Health & Safety (HSE) responsibilities:
61 Knows and adheres to the quality policy of the company and the quality-related procedures and instructions
61 Reports any deviation in product or process, of which he/she becomes aware, to his/her manager or the Quality department
61 Completes all necessary training in the area of Quality and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
61 Immediately reports any dissatisfaction or complaint which is brought to their attention from a customer or patient regarding a Smith & Nephew product (e.g. in terms of quality, durability, reliability, safety or performance) to the complaints department
61 Complies with all health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and job hazard analyses applicable to specified job activities; including medical evaluations as required by job function
61 Completes all required HSE training
