Job Purpose:

Assists direct report manager (Product Manager) in Primary Metallization (Direct Metallization, Desmear, Electroless Copper) products management, strategy planning & internal training/experience sharing activities; collaborate with Asia sales, technical service and technical business development teams, to develop new business and providing supports in new product evaluation, new process installation and high-level trouble-shooting jobs; liaison with Metallization LoB in new product development or existing product improvement or trouble-shooting activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Product management activities assigned by Product Manager. Including (but not limiting to) product line activities tracking, gain & loss tracking, sales performance comments, technical database management, …etc.

2. Lead/coordinate related product committee(s), for sharing product line experiences among countries in Asia.

3. Support Asia commercial teams in developing new primary metallization business, through customer visits, product promotions & professional technical consultations.

4. Collaborate with Asia commercial teams in securing primary metallization business, through providing professional technical supports in process installation planning, execution, and high-level trouble-shooting.

5. Work as contact window to Metallization LoB, coordinate & participate in new product development activities (Alpha-site, Beta-site trials & data collection), and existing product improvement & high-level trouble-shooting activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related discipline

- At least 6 years experiences in technical service, preferably in Chemical or PCB Manufacturing industry in China

- Knowledge of PCB industry and manufacturing process.

- Good communication, interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills

- Must be a hands-on person with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve chemical issues quickly within customer

- Team player and ability to interact closely with other departments

- Ability to speak read and write English

- Willing to frequently travel
