Your role will be vital to ensuring the happiness of our customers by touching on multiple areas of our quality control process. You’ll be handling the next generation of hardware every day, and will be responsible for a significant part for the success of our customer’s projects.
You will report to the [Feidi SQE Lead].
What You’ll Be Doing
Coordinate with Fictiv Sourcing team identifying and on boarding new MP (Manufacturing Partner)
Work with cross-functional teams and Manufacturing Partners to ensure the good quality of the products sourced in Dongguan or nearby regions
Mainly CNC project quality assurance . May extend work scope to injection molding/3D printing/Die casting/sheet metal/compress molding Project quality assurance
Ensure MP deliver very urgent level project with On Time In Full performance through
MP selection and qualification
MP quality management system improvement
MP project review
MP process control
MP out-going inspection
IF (in full) failure Corrective Action Report
On site inspection to the heavy part, QC non metrology capability part or other projects specified.
Customer complaint handling
Coordinate TPM (Technical Project Manager) on site verify MP project progress to meet schedule defined.
Contributing to the Fictiv platform also processes continuously improving.
Support and back up other SQEs when necessary.
Other tasks assigned by SQE lead. e.g. inspection process optimization, potential MP assessment, etc.
Desired traits
Mechanical Engineer background preferred
With 5+ years quality engineer or supplier quality engineer experience in the CNC industry.
Good experience of Corrective Action Report analysis and continuous improvement of CNC
Excellent knowledge about quality tools
Excellent communicator, strong sense of responsibility
English reading and writing are preferred, oral and listening is a plus.
