The R&D Engineer is part of TRUMPF’s Chinese R&D team which is responsible for cost down and product enhancement programs of TRUMPF’s Laser and optic products based on Chinese market needs. In addition, this role takes a frontier position in new localization projects.
You will have a strong link to the German HQ R&D and TRUMPF China departments in order to drive the joint development.
1、Technical Lead for Localization and R&D projects
2、Coordination of R&D activities with HQ R&D departments and TRUMPF China Product Management
3、Supplier development and coordination
4、System engineering for TRUMPF Laser and optics products
5、Qualification and verification on component and system level
6、Support building equipment and infrastructure for new product introduction
7、Managing BOM at component level
8、Managing ECR, ECN, DFEMA etc
9、Training local production staffs for new product introduction
10、Manage tasks and project progress with interfacing departments
11、Support product related problem solving in service and production
1、Min. 3-5 years work experience in R&D project management
2、Studies in the field of physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar
3、Good knowledge of electronics and optics
4、Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
5、High degree of willingness to learn, flexibility, motivation, endurance and ability to work under pressure
6、Teamwork and communication skills
7、Capable of managing a team
8、Work or study experience in Germany is highly appreciated
9、English is capable in daily working environment including listening, speaking, reading and writing. German is a plus.
