1. Screen local raw material alternative according to requests from purchasing / technical purchasing / product owned lab / product transfer team.

2. Use the knowledge to find the right alternatives with same chemistry and performance in recipes by characterization and testing.

3. Support product transfer.

4. Active participation in raw material strategy creation and updates based on regional opportunity and needs together with Technical Purchasing and Purchasing

Knowledge / skills required

1. Excellent technical knowledge about raw materials in coating.

2. Good connection with local raw material suppliers, has working experience in raw mate-rial supplier is a plus.

3. Deep knowledge of polymer characterization.

4. Educational background or 2 years work experience for chemical analysis and charac-terization.

5. Sound knowledge of paint performance testing.

6. Strong sense of paint application and color development.

7. Good communication and negotiation skills.

8. Project management skill.

9. Target oriented.
