IT System Engineer

*The role

The primary responsibility for this role is Ensure System Reliability, Optimize System Efficiency, Enhance Systems Security, IT User support with focus on Microsoft 365, Azure and Hyper-V.

*Essential Roles & responsibilities:

1. User support: good user experience, Service Desk, comprehensive valid and up to date systems documentation.

2.Administration and management of Windows Server environments and Active Directory

2. Administration and optimization of Hyper-V

3. Administrate, operate and support local network infrastructure

4. Ensuring IT security by implementing security solutions (e.g. Azure AD, Conditional Access).

5. Support and troubleshooting technical problems. Troubleshooting, Support and documentation: Diagnose and resolve complex system and network issues. Oversee and implement processes for comprehensive network documentation

6. Training and documentation requirements with focus on our “New IT Landscape” environment and related processes.

7. Working with customers to develop customized solutions in OT

8.Project Success: The successful implementation of IT project, changes, as well as systems upgrades within budget and timeline

9.Increased business agility, efficient and functional systems and process implementation

Skills & experience

- Bachelor’s degree in in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

-5+ years' experience in the field of IT system and user support.

-Completed studies in the field of computer science or comparable training.

-Sound knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Hyper-V

-Experience in migrating and managing complex IT infrastructures

-Knowledge of PowerShell and other automation tools.

-Basic knowledge of local network and firewall infrastructure

-Ability to work in a team and independently.

-Good written and reading English, preferable for good verbal English communication skills; Cantonese would be a plus.

-Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

- Self-driven and reliable; juggle a multitude of tasks some with very short notice. Non-prestigious and humble person who understands that running a fast-growing/innovation company.

-Good Communication capability and team spirit.

-Accommodate occasional travel
