Process Safety Engineer

- Transfer knowledge of PSM standards across site functions.

- Support both site-internal PSM compliance audits and global/government led PSM audits.

- Support Lead Process Safety Engineer to track and evaluate PSM KPI’s and manage improvement plans.

- Support process safety risk assessments for changes to the process units.

- Support Process Safety Event root cause analysis and investigation.

- Provide technical expertise and guidance for PSM subjects such as Inherently Safe Design, MOC, RCA, PHA, SIL Certification, MI Programs etc.

Skills & Competencies:

- Around 3-5 years of experience in the petrochemical industry, with preferably at least 1-2 years in a PSM role or as a PSM element owner (MOC, PHA, PSI etc).

- Good collaboration with a diverse team from different functions/areas.

- Understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM) & Process Hazard Analysis (PHA).

- Familiar with processes handling highly hazardous chemicals.

- Familiar with regulations, codes and standards pertaining to Process Safety in the Chemical Industry (SH, GB, NFPA, API, CCPS-PSM, RMP-US etc).
