THE ROLE
The candidate will work on R&D product’s mechanical design, do team work together with China and Belgium project team. Full contribution on mechanical design / estimation based on China local suppliers’ capability level and the material / process transfer estimation between Europe and China.
RESPONSIBILITIES
61 New technology research / evaluation / analysis / verification
61 Product mechanical design concept / drawing / specification / test requirement / BOM per the project requirement
61 Product mechanical design review & improvement with China & Belgium team (Simulation, tolerance stack up, material transfer solution from Belgium to China, design requirement VS China suppliers’ capability …)
61 Problem solving in development and sustain products, provide solution from mechanical viewpoint
61 Product cost analysis & improvement according to required manufacturing process
61 Standardize and serialize product design to manage similar products. Execute and improve product design standardization
61 Execute ECR/ECN procedure to manage engineering change
61 Tracking engineering sample build and trial run, necessarily update product design accordingly
61 Support ad-hoc assignment work from team leaders
REQUIREMENTS
61 Bachelor’s (or above) degree in Mechanical Engineering
61 Native mandarin and excellent read/written English communication skills, plus verbal English
61 3+ years’ experience as R&D engineer with product / new technology research
61 5+ years’ experience in DFX review / approve function
61 Excellent concept 3D simulation skill (Prefer Solidworks / Creo)
61 Excellent tolerance stack-up capability
61 Good knowledge of China current suppliers’ capability of mechanic, especially for the tolerance achievable level based on suppliers’ equipment and process situation
61 Excellent skills in software of SOLIDWORKS, plus PDM / ERP
61 Good knowledge of CNC / Injection / die casting / stamping / cold heading / treatment … for metal manufacturing process
61 Good knowledge of material property
61 Good knowledge of international mechanical design standard
61 Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving ability
61 Good communication and expression ability
61 Good report writing and presentation skills, conversant in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
61 Satisfactory team spirit and cooperation ability.
LOCATION PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
61 Position is in ShaJing Town, Shenzhen – 800Meters far from metro Line 11 HouTing station
