Oversea Handbag QC

1. Conduct Comprehensive Inspections: Perform thorough in-line, final, and pre-shipment inspections (AQL standards) on handbags at various stages of production, focusing on construction, stitching, hardware, functionality, and overall finish.

2. Leather & Materials Expertise: Critically assess leather quality (genuine, synthetic, fabric), identify defects (grain, texture, color consistency, scars, finish), and ensure material compliance with specifications and standards.

3. Process Knowledge Application: Utilize deep understanding of handbag manufacturing processes (pattern making, cutting, skiving, stitching, assembly, finishing) to identify potential quality issues at source and recommend corrective actions.

4. Quality Standards Enforcement: Ensure products strictly adhere to company quality standards, technical specifications, approved samples, and client requirements.

5. Supplier Communication: Liaise effectively with factory QC teams and production managers to communicate inspection findings, non-conformities, and required corrective actions promptly and clearly.

6. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed, accurate, and timely inspection reports with photos, documenting defects, measurements, and pass/fail status. Maintain clear quality records.

7. Problem Solving & Prevention: Identify recurring quality issues, analyze root causes, and collaborate with production and development teams to implement effective solutions and prevent future defects.

Required Qualifications & Skills

1. Travel Requirements:(need to travel to Cambodia, Bangladesh, Vietnam.)

Extensive travel to overseas factories is required, with the possibility of extended stays (three to six months) to monitor production and ensure compliance.

2. Must have 5+ years of QC inspection experience in leather handbags.

3. Deep Knowledge of leather handbag manufacturing processes, techniques, and construction methods.

4. Extensive Travel Mandatory: Willingness and ability to travel frequently (estimated 50-75%) to production facilities primarily in Vietnam and Cambodia. Valid passport required.

5. Good English communication skills.

6. Strong Sense of Responsibility & Ownership:

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with a commitment to seeing tasks through to successful completion. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure.

7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
