1. Responsible for the BOM (Bill of Material) 81 all sourcings within or below target (entire BOM) 81 for new projects/e.g. development projects;

2. Preparing and sending RFQs (request for quotation) as well as drawings and technical&quality specifications to the suppliers after aligned with the local commodity team;

3. Analyzing and comparing offers, coordinate the techinical review and feasibility study with suppliers;

4. Ordering prototypes, prototype tooling, pre-serial parts (A-D-samples)

5. Member of the PEP (product creation process) team 81 involving the commodity buyers at an early stage into the product design where necessary 81 making sure latest market trends and changes are taken into consideration;

6. Responsible for on-time sourcing – timeplan within the project milestones;

7. Responsible to reach the Q-Gates in terms of timing and purchasing performance

Interface to the project team;

8. Evaluating within the project team the given sourcing time 81 project Kick-off, readiness of drawing & last possible point of making the sourcing decision (backward calculation);

9. Member of all milestone meetings within the project – communicating the purchasing status;

10. Handing over the part at SOP with a small batch to the material planner

Cost reduction programms within the BOM – active BOM management (using global network);

11. Setting-up a sourcing time-plan (backward calculation: respecting all major indicators – e.g. lead time of tooling);

12. Preparing and presenting all new components at the decision meeting, giving a supplier recommendation with justification (comparison sheet) after aligned with the local commodity team Creating development contracts with business partners (e.g. new electronic applications);

13. Integrating cost walk with priced timeline up to defined development result – clear definition of all tasks;

14. Participate the PPAP audit for the part before SOP;

15. Proceed the change request related to the supplier during the development phase ;

Position Requirement：

1． College degrees, Major in mechanical or engineering is preferred;

2． At least three years’ experience in project procurement with metal parts;

3． Familiar with supply chain management knowledge, purchasing process and supplier management;

4． Good English expression and writing skills;

5． Proficient in using computer and office software，have a certain understanding of enterprise management software ERP system;

6． Familiar with IATF16949 and VDA6.3 supplier audit;
