Job Description:
Responsible for trade processing, reporting and control function on Treasury products, such as validating the deal ticket against the broker and interbanks’ confirmations, following up the deal discrepancy with brokers and/or the counterparties, handling payments and/or receipts via SWIFT/RTGS.
1.Confirm the deal details with counterpart.
2.Liaise and communicate with business departments, if necessary.
3.Reconcile the deal tickets against the brokers &/or inter banks’ confirmations.
4.Reconcile the incoming funds and report any discrepancy to his/her supervisor.
5.Prepare the daily reports and submit to his/her supervisor.
6.Prepare and input the G/L in the FMS system if needed.
7.Prepare and input SWIFT messages.
8.Ensure the transaction details of the deals are interfaced properly from front office system to back office system.
9.Follow up the deal discrepancy with brokers &/or inter banks.
10.Follow up the outstanding confirmations with counterparties.
11.Ensure all daily settlement instructions are duly completed before day-end.
12.File and pack all the matured transactions and document.
13.Handle incoming payment messages from SWIFT / RTGS.
14.Act as the back up of his/her team members in their absence in handling the daily operations.
15.Act according to his/her supervisor instructions on support ad-hoc tasks, if necessary.
Support operation of vostro accounts for correspondent banks and our oversea branches, if necessary.
16.Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity; and
17.Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work.
Requirement:
1.Bachelor degree or Above, preferable 2 years’ experience in the banking industry;
2.Self-motivated, responsible and able to work under pressure;
3.Good communication and interpersonal skills
