Python Engineer - Apache Airflow

As a software engineer on the Raptor Batch team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing workflow solutions based on Apache Airflow and Spring Batch. You will be responsible for migrating the existing jobs and workflows to our new Airflow-based solution, ensuring seamless integration and operation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to the transformation of our workflow management processes.

Main Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement workflow solutions based on Apache Airflow and Spring Batch.

- Migrate the existing Broadcom Automic Automation (i.e., Automic UC4) jobs and workflows to the new Airflow-based platform.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the successful integration of workflows.

- Optimize and enhance the performance of the workflow solutions to meet business needs.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to workflow execution and performance.

- Write technical specifications and procedures for the workflow solutions.

Requirement:

1.A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related fields.

2.3 - 5 years of experience as a software engineer, with a focus on workflow solutions and automation.

2. Proficient in Python server-side application development. Proficiency in Java programming is a plus.

3. Mastery of Apache Airflow and related experience is a plus.

4. Experience with UC4 (Broadcom Automic) is a plus. Proficient in the use and concepts of Kubernetes. Experience in developing Kubernetes controllers is a plus.

5. Proficient in RDBMS and PostgreSQL databases.

6. Familiar with observability tools and practices (e.g., Clickhouse, Grafana, Open Search, Kibana).

7. Agile development practices; excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
