Scope of Job:
As a Senior Corporate Communications Manager at Shanghai LEGOLAND Resort, you are primarily responsible for two core tasks. First, collaborate closely with external major influencers such as governments, shareholders, and industry players. Develop communication strategies, maintain good relationships, seek policy support and resource assurance to facilitate the development of the theme park. Second, comprehensively manage crises communications, covering aspects such as system construction, prevention and monitoring, response and handling. Enhance employees' crisis awareness and response capabilities to effectively safeguard the company's image during crises, ensuring the park's operation and a pleasant experience for visitors.
I. Position Overview
As a Senior Corporate Communications Manager of Shanghai LEGOLAND Resort, you are mainly responsible for closely collaborating with major influencers of the company to build a solid communication bridge. Meanwhile, you will take overall charge of crisis management to safeguard the outstanding brand image and reputation of Shanghai Legoland. In the cooperation with external relevant departments, you will actively promote policy support and project cooperation to facilitate the sustainable development of the Resort. In the field of crisis management, you will formulate and implement comprehensive crisis response strategies to ensure that the resort can quickly and effectively defuse various challenges, guaranteeing the operation of the Resort and a pleasant experience for visitors.
II. Main Responsibilities
A. Development and Execution of Communication Strategies
o Based on the company's business development strategy and industry policy trends, formulate comprehensive and forward - looking external communication strategies and annual plans targeting governments, industries, partners, and major influencers. Define short - term and long - term communication goals and action plans.
o Track changes in policies and regulations, conduct in - depth analysis of their impact on the company's business, and provide policy interpretation and response suggestions to the company's management to ensure that the company's strategy is in line with government policy orientations.
o Promote the achievement of Shanghai LEGOLAND Resort's marketing goals by telling the corporate brand story to multiple stakeholders such as governments, industries, partners, and major influencers, thus building popularity for the resort and shaping consumers' perception.
B. External Communication and Management of Publicity Content
o Proactively establish long - term, stable, positive, and good cooperative relationships with government publicity departments at all levels, regulatory agencies, publicity departments of shareholders, industries, partners, and major influencers. Regularly visit the heads of relevant departments to enhance mutual understanding and trust.
o Represent the company to participate in various meetings, seminars, industry forums, etc., organized by government publicity departments. Actively showcase the company's strength and achievements to enhance the company's popularity and reputation at the government level.
o For major company events, PR plans, etc., be responsible for communicating and coordinating with relevant government departments and shareholders to seek policy support and resources guarantee and promote the smooth implementation of projects.
o Evaluate, conduct internal communication, provide feedback on the integrated publicity plans proposed by government - related publicity, culture, and tourism departments, and cooperate with relevant departments in their implementation.
o Coordinate various internal departments of the company, integrate information resources, and unify the external communication caliber to ensure the consistency and professionalism of the company's information in government - and shareholder - related publicity and communication.
C. Construction of Crisis Communications Management System
o Develop and improve the company's crisis management communication policies, processes, and plans, covering various crisis scenarios such as natural, man - made, market, and reputation crises. Define specific steps and division of responsibilities for crisis identification, assessment, response, and recovery.
o Regularly evaluate and update the crisis management communication plan to ensure its adaptability to the company's strategy, business changes, and the external environment. Conduct a comprehensive review and optimization at least once a year.
o Establish a training and drill mechanism for crisis management. Organize crisis response training and simulation drills for various departments of the company, no less than 3 times a year, to enhance the crisis awareness and response capabilities of all employees.
D. Crisis Prevention and Monitoring
o Establish a crisis early - warning indicator system. o When a crisis occurs, promptly activate the crisis communication response plan and serve as a core member of the crisis response command center to ensure smooth information flow and orderly actions.
o Be responsible for communicating and coordinating with the media, government regulatory agencies, stakeholders, etc., promptly release accurate and authoritative information, respond to concerns, control public opinion trends, and safeguard the company's image and reputation.
o Develop communication strategies and information release content during the crisis, review materials such as press releases and statements issued externally to ensure the consistency and accuracy of information.
o Closely monitor the development of the crisis, flexibly adjust response strategies according to the actual situation, promptly allocate resources, and effectively solve problems that arise during the crisis.
o After the crisis ends, conduct a comprehensive review of the crisis event. Collaborate with HSS to analyze the causes of the crisis, experiences, and lessons learned during the response process, form a detailed crisis communication summary report, and organize the experiences and cases during the crisis management process into a knowledge base to provide reference for the company's future crisis management work.

III. Qualifications
A. Educational Background
o A bachelor's degree in risk management, public relations, communication, business administration, or related fields. A master's degree is preferred.
B. Work Experience
o 5 - 8 years or more of relevant work experience in government publicity work, crisis management, risk management, public relations, etc. Successful experience in government publicity management or handling major crisis events is required.
o Familiarity with the crisis characteristics and response methods of the cultural and tourism industry. Those with crisis management experience in the theme park industry are preferred.
C. Skills
o Possess excellent communication and coordination skills, enabling effective communication with various internal departments of the company, external media, and government departments, and the ability to coordinate resources from all parties.
o Have outstanding decision - making and adaptability skills, capable of making correct decisions quickly in crisis situations and flexibly responding to various unexpected situations.
o Master public opinion monitoring and analysis tools, have data analysis capabilities, and be able to discern crisis trends through data to support decision - making.

• Health & Safety
Senior Managers are responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety & Security within their Business units, in line with the Group Policy (HS001). In particular, they must ensure that risk assessments have been carried out and that safe working procedures are in place at all locations within their remits and that all employees under their management are aware of the Group Health, Safety and Security Policy and their obligations under it.
