POFC 工艺工程师 Process Engineer

- Process design of Polymer & Reaction plants, from pilot scale to world-scale commercial plants

- Lead initiatives for improvement and development of the Sulzer Technologies to increase overall energy efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness.

- Follow evolution of technology, systems, and tools, as well as our competitors, and drive initiatives to make sure that Process Engineering department adapts to these developments.

- Acts as a mentor for the process engineers and new employees for the related technology - in coordination with Head Process Engineering, PO

- Analysis and evaluation of extensive test data from pilot and commercial plants

- Sales support activities

- Preparation of various engineering documents

- Prepares template documents as required in coordination with the Head Process Engineering, PO

- Coaching and reviewing the work of new employees.

- Collaborate with stakeholders on patent filings, industrial solutions, and application cases.

- Apply Sulzer processes, directives, QESH regulations, standards, and systems (management system, 10 golden rules etc.) and act according to Sulzer values and behaviors.

- Commissioning support at client sites and global traveling about 20%.

- Special Areas of Responsibility:

- Involved in large and complex client projects.

- Takes ownership for coordination, improvement, and development of the technology - in coordination with Head Process Engineering, PO and T&I teams.

- Close collaboration with T&I and Process Engineering departments.

- Providing support and technical insight to sales and business to identify new opportunities with new polymers and applications.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

- More than 5 years professional experience in process engineering / commissioning / start-up in Chemical plant design, Polymer or Crystallization Technology fields.

- Education: Level: Master or PhD

- Languages: Fluency in English. German and any other European language as advantage.

- Soft skills: Team-player, positive and pragmatic mind-set, high job dedication. Curiosity to learn about the technology. Hands-on.

- Other: IT: Programming skills and MS office skills

- Travel requirement: 20 %
