Key Responsibilities:
1. Sourcing and Supplier Management
o Identify, assess, and select subcontracting factories aligned with company standards and strategic goals.
o Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers to ensure longterm partnerships.
o Conduct regular evaluations of subcontractor performance, addressing quality, service levels, and compliance standards.
oCollaborate with suppliers to enhance their capabilities, ensuring they meet the company’s requirements for quality, capacity, and lead times.
2. Supplier Development and Complianceo Lead the development programs for subcontractingfactoriesfocusing on quality improvement, cost reductions, and production efficiency.
o Ensure that all subcontractors adhere to industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards bot for the country in which they manufactureaswellasfor the countries to which products are shipped and imported.
oWork with suppliers to implement corrective action plans when issues arise and monitor improvements.
oOverseethe implementation of new processes, training, and technologies with subcontractors to drive production quality and efficiency.
3. Financial Management and Budgeting
o Develop and manage the annual sourcing budget, ensuring alignment with company financial objectives.
o Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality.
o.Track and analyze financial performance metrics for the sourcing department, including SGAF, cost of goods, vendor performance, and project ROI.
o Provide regular reports on financial performance and budgetary adherence, proposing corrective actions as needed.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Work closely with R&D, Product Development, Marketing, QA, Customer Service, Planning, Quality Control, and Logistics teams to ensure that sourcing strategies align with business objectives.
o Partner with the finance team to align sourcing costs with company financial targets.
oSupport the operations team in forecasting production needs and managing lead times.
5. Strategic Planning and Innovation
o Develop and execute sourcing strategies to support the company’s growth and expansion objectives.
o Research market trends, new technologies, and industry practices to continuously improve sourcing operations.
o Identify and assess new sourcing opportunities, considering the company’s sustainability goals and long-term strategy.
o Develop contingency plans to address potential risks in the sourcing supply chain.
Qualifications:
61 Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
61 10+yearsofexperience insourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a strong background in subcontracting and factory management.
61 Proven experience in managing supplier relationships and driving supplier development.
61 Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and analyzing financial performance.
61 Excellent negotiation and communication skills in English; Chinese is strong plus.
61 Ability to work in across-functional, global team environment.
61 Knowledge of industry regulations, quality standards, international trade and compliance requirements.
