1. Oversee Supply Chain Planning (20%)
61 Develop and implement supply chain planning strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Customer Care, Finance) to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and improve overall operational efficiency.
61 Support and coordinate the daily work of Planner to ensure on-time delivery and the completion of inventory turnover targets.
61 Support the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, working towards improved forecast accuracy.
61 Manage a rolling customer forecast in partnership with the sales team.
61 Determine safety stock periodically in ERP based on sales forecast, historical data, inventory level and supplier status.
2. Import/Export Coordination (40%)
61 Oversee all aspects of import and export operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and documentation standards.
61 Negotiate and manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics service providers to secure the most cost-effective and reliable transportation solutions.
61 Monitor global trade developments and regulatory changes and adjust supply chain strategies accordingly to minimize disruptions and ensure compliance.
61 Coordinate with suppliers and customers to ensure timely and accurate shipment of goods, and resolve any issues related to customs clearance, transportation delays, or documentation discrepancies.
3. Sample Order Management (20%)
61 Manage the entire lifecycle of sample orders, from initial request to final delivery, ensuring that samples are produced, packaged, and shipped in a timely and accurate manner.
61 Collaborate with D&A, Production, and Quality teams to ensure that sample orders meet all specifications and quality standards.
61 Maintain a comprehensive database of sample orders, tracking progress, and providing regular updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
61 Develop and implement processes to streamline sample order management, reducing lead times and improving overall efficiency.
4. Team Leadership and Development (20%)
61 Develop a strong positive team culture, in line with Colorcon operating principles by motivating, training, coaching and developing people.
61 Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the supply chain team, encouraging team members to identify and implement process improvements.
61 Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
Key Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Pharmaceutical or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, with a strong focus on planning, import/export operations and order management.
3. Proficiency in supply chain planning tools and software (e.g., SAP, Oracle systems, supply chain analytics tools).
4. Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures and logistics best practices.
5. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
8. Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
