Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Food Packaging Business Developer with extensive experience in plastic films and shrink bags for the food industry. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of bone-in and boneless shrink bags, thermoforming films, modified atmosphere packaging (MAP), top web, bottom web, and related packaging solutions. This role requires a proactive and aggressive business developer who can drive growth across the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities:

1 Develop and expand business opportunities for food packaging solutions across APAC.

2 Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and manufacturers.

3 Identify customer needs and provide technical and commercial solutions.

4 Conduct market research to track industry trends and competitor activity.

5 Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to drive sales growth.

6 Work independently to develop and execute a strategic business plan.

7 Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality service and product delivery.

8 Travel across the APAC region for client meetings and industry events as needed. Around 50% travel to Thailand, Indonesia or Southeast countries.

Requirements:

1 Five to eight years of experience in food packaging, plastic films, and shrink bags.

2 Strong technical knowledge of thermoforming films, MAP, shrink bags, and flexible packaging solutions.

3 Proven track record in business development and aggressive sales execution.

4 Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, competitive market.

5 Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

6 Experience working in the APAC market is a plus.

7 Fluent in English and Mandarin is preferred.
