Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Coordination: Closely collaborating with customer & market, production, engineering & service and sourcing to ensure seamless integration and optimization of supply chain.
Production Planning and Scheduling: Creating production plans and schedules that align with the demand forecasts and delivery target provided by customer and market team. Identifying potential bottlenecks and proposing mitigation plan.
Inventory Management: Overseeing the management of spare part, modules, and finished goods inventories. Maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet demands while minimize excess and obsolescence.
Supply Chain Optimization: Continuously analyzing supply chain performance and identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance responsiveness.
Reporting and Analytics: Reporting on supply chain KPIs, such as CLIP, inventory turns, and lead times. Providing data-driven insights to support supply chain decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Connect with other functions ensuring effective communication and build win-win partnerships.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, industrial engineering, or related field. MBA or MSc in Supply Chain Management will be a plus.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a production planning or supply chain management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of successful production planning, inventory management, and supply chain function.
- Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams and interfacing with customers/markets.
Technical Skills:
- Strong in production planning, and inventory management techniques.
- Familiarity with supply chain management software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
- Project management skills to coordinate various supply chain activities.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and modeling.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent in problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams
- Adaptability to handle changing business requirements and priorities.
